In the first part, the paper presents a discusion of the philosophy of time in twentieth century and defines the differences between the A‑theory of time and the B‑theory of time as well as between presentism and eternalism. In the second part, the paper provides an interpretation of Aquinas’s texts, which is compatible with the A‑theory of time and presentism. In the last part, the paper presents and criticizes the approach which interprets the works of Aquinas as being compatible with the B‑theory of time and eternalism.
