Business accelerators created by banks are increasingly an alternative to traditional forms of support for newly created business entities. These organisations are crucial for the process of providing assistance to FinTech businesses, which are characterised by high risk. The analysis of the range of support offered by selected organisations indicates that these institutions are not a homogenous instrument for promoting entrepreneurship, while focusing on the individual needs of startups may be beneficial for both banking and FinTech sector. The aim of this publication is to present business accelerators created by banks as an alternative institutional form of support for FinTech.
