This article presents an empirical study focusing on the educational strategies, or learning methods, employed by part-time students. The study centres on two aspects of students’ educational strategies: learning within the context of life plans and the components of individual learning processes. These components include learning goals, preferred learning content, favoured learning methods, and encountered learning difficulties. The strategies employed by students are classified considering defensive (passive) and offensive strategies (active). The findings of the conducted study lead to the conclusion that 53.3% of the surveyed students tend to adopt defensive strategies, while 46.7% lean towards offensive strategies

Artykuł zawiera omówienie badań empirycznych dotyczących strategii edukacyjnych, tj. sposobów działania związanych z uczeniem się, jakie stosują studenci studiów niestacjonarnych. Przedmiotem szczególnego zainteresowania są dwa aspekty strategii edukacyjnych studentów: uczenie się w perspektywie planów życiowych oraz elementy indywidualnego procesu uczenia się, tj. cele kształcenia, preferowane treści kształcenia, faworyzowane metody uczenia się, trudności związane z uczeniem się. Stosowane przez studentów strategie scharakteryzowano, mając na uwadze cechy charakterystyczne strategii defensywnej (obronnej, pasywnej) i ofensywnej (aktywnej). Przeprowadzone badania prowadzą do wniosku, że 53,3% badanych studentów częściej stosuje strategie defensywne, a 46,7% – ofensywne.
