The paper is an attempt to show from the pedagogical perspective the role of the family in Jozef Tischner’s thought. The article also points at the need for dialogue in the family. The family is a source of love and responsibility as well. Finally, the paper also accounts for how Tischner viewed children’s upbringing.

W artykule podjęta została próba ukazania roli rodziny w myśli Józefa Tischnera z perspektywy pedagogicznej. Kolejno ukazano potrzebę dialogu w rodzinie. Przedstawiono znaczenie rodziny jako źródła miłości i odpowiedzialności. Zaprezentowano wychowanie w rodzinie w ujęciu Józefa Tischnera.
