Artykuł przedstawia rozwój opieki zdrowotnej w Ugandzie w czasach, kiedy pracowała tam dr Wanda Błeńska (1911-2014). Ma za cel wyjaśnienie medycznych i kulturowych aspektów jej działalności lekarskiej w Afryce.

This article presents the development of healthcare in Uganda when Dr. Wanda Błeńska (1911-2014) worked there. The article aims to explain medical and cultural context of her  activity as a doctor in Africa.
