Artykuł prezentuje nowy podział form otwartego dostępu (OD), począwszy od zielonej i złotej drogi poprzez diamentowe, brązowe i hybrydowe ścieżki aż do zjawisk patologicznych funkcjonujących w obszarze OD. Tym ostatnim poświęcono szczególną uwagę, opisując zjawiska cyfrowego piractwa, klasyfikowanych jako czarny OD sieci społecznościowych dla naukowców oraz czasopism drapieżnych. Toczące się dyskusje w środowisku naukowym na temat nielegalnych dróg OD prowadzą do wniosków wskazujących konieczność wprowadzenia zmian w otwartym modelu publikowania, tak aby zapobiec takim nadużyciom.

This article proposes a new division of currently available forms of open access (OA), from the green road and gold OA, through diamond, brown and hybrid paths, up to undesirable pathological phenomena occurring in OA. A particular attention is given to the latter group with a presentation of the manifestations of digital piracy, social media networks for scientists termed as the black OA, and predatory journals and dishonesty in science. The debate on illegal ways of sourcing via OA currently under way in scientific circles shows that there is a growing need for an introduction of changes to be implemented in the open publishing model to prevent its further possible abuse.
