Polemika z artykułem Petera Hudisa, “Yes, There Is An Alternative – AndIt Can Be Found in Marx” w kontekście jego całej koncepcji zawartej w książce Marx’s Concept of the Alternative to Capitalism (Brill 2013). Autor analizuję propozycję Hudisa w odniesieniu do jej zdolności do udzielanie odpowiedzi na dwa pytania, które określa z jednej strony mianem „klasycznego” (Czy Marks przedstawia wizję alternatywy dla kapitalizmu?), z drugiej zaś „współczesnego” (Czy Marks przedstawia wizję alternatywy dla kapitalizmu, która do nas przemawia?). Według autora te dwa porządki w pracy Hudisa ulegają niepokojącemu przemieszaniu.

This essay is a polemic with Peter Hudis’s paper Yes, There IsAn Alternative – And It Can Be Found in Marx in the contextof his broader conception (Marx’s Concept of the Alternativeto Capitalism (Brill 2013)). The author analyses the mentionedproposition and its ability to answer to the following questions– the “classical” one (Did Marx develop an alternative to capitalism?)and the “contemporary” one (Did Marx developan alternative to capitalism, which matters for us?). Accordingto the author orders constituted by both of these questionsare disturbingly melted in Hudis work.
