The article is a tentative study referring to the process of the English criminal trial before the Old Baily court of law. The author analyzes cases of murders in the period 1750–1770 and on this basis she presents all the stages of the hearing with the support of source examples.

Artykuł ten jest przyczynkowym studium dotyczącym przebiegu angielskiego procesu karnego przed sądem Old Bailey. Autorka analizuje przypadki morderstw w latach 1750–1770 i na tej podstawie dokonuje przedstawienia wszystkich etapów rozprawy w oparciu o przykłady źródłowe.
