THE BASIC RESEARCH problem of the article titled „The German SPD. From the reform to the absence of the programme?” is the proof to answer on the question: If the origin reform programme of the German Social Democratic Party opened from above the way to the tendency of lack ideological identity and washed out her programme? The German Social Democratic Party has gone a long way and deep evolution. From the party which tried to reform the Capitalism through the party voting in 1914 for the taking part of Germany in the First World War and aft er her finishing, she carried a responsibility for murdering Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht to the modern problems with ideological identity. Author of the article signals the visible similarity between the German and Polish (SLD) Social Democratic Parties. In fact, both resigned from any socialist aspirations and made transition to the pure liberal – bourgeois policy.
