В данной статье дается характеристика правового статуса украинской республики в составе СССР. Целью статьи является ответ на вопрос, являлась ли Советская Украина государством. В начале работы рассматривается проблема признания государства в сфере международных отношений, далее анализируются статьи конституции Советской Украины и Союза Советских Социалистических Республик, в которых обозначаются признаки, указывающие на Украину как государство, а также как субъект права не являющийся государством. Работу заканчивает изложение аргументов статьи и ответ на вышеизложенный вопрос.

The purpose of this Article is characteristic of the legal status of this republic and the answer to the question posed in the title. Paper begins the characteristic of the problem of the recognition of the states status in the international arena. Further, analyzes rules of the Constitution of Soviet Ukraine and the Soviet Union, which characterized Ukraine like a state or juridical subject without states attributes. The work finish a summary of the arguments from the paper and the answer to the question from title.
