The subject of the analyses are the experiences declared by students without disability (SWOD) and with disability (SWD) regarding the incidence of intimate partner violence (IPV) in their parents’ relationships. The diagnostic survey method included 2847 university students in south-eastern Poland. There are statistical differences between the groups in the incidence of physical, psychological, sexual and economic violence in their parents’ relationships. The biggest difference was noted in physical and sexual violence (p<0.00001). The average incidence of these forms of IPV in the relationships of parents of SWD was twice as high as in the families of SWOD.
