The aim of the article is to discuss the functions of cultural magazines in Sandomierz – “Strony Sandomierskie” and “Goworek”. The publication consists of two parts. The first deals with the history and presents both periodicals. The second one is an analysis of the content of “Strony Sandomierskie” and “Goworek” with an indication of the functions performed by these magazines.

Artykuł ma na celu wskazanie funkcji sandomierskich magazynów kulturalnych: „Stron Sandomierskich” (2002–2003) i „Goworka” (2004–2006). Tekst składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej omówiono historię i zaprezentowano obydwa periodyki. Druga stanowi analizę zawartości „Stron Sandomierskich” i „Goworka” wraz ze wskazaniem pełnionych przez magazyny funkcji.
