Tatrzański Park Narodowy prowadzi liczne działania mające na celu dostosowanie obszaru na potrzeby ruchu turystycznego tak, by nie zagrażał on środowisku, a stopień jego negatywnego oddziaływania był jak najmniejszy. Praca przedstawia sposób funkcjonowania instytucji, charakteryzuje jej działania. Omawia również problemy związane z udostępnianiem parku dla ruchu turystycznego.

Tatra National Park conducts a number of activities designed to adapting the area for tourism in order to avoid posing a threat to the environment and to diminish the degree of its negative impact to the smallest possible level. The following thesis indicates the way of the functioning of this institution as well as characterizes actions devoted mainly to tourism. Moreover, it describes issues which are connected with sharing the area of the park for tourism.
