Głównym celem edukacji przedszkolnej jest dbanie o wielostronny rozwój dziecka. Aby cel ten został zrealizowany, przedszkole musi współpraco-wać z rodzicami. W zakres tej współpracy wpisuje się rada rodziców, która jest społecznym organem reprezentującym rodziców dzieci danego przedszkola. Artykuł ukazuje problematykę funkcjonowania rady rodziców w instytucjonalnej strukturze przedszkola.

The main objective of primary education is taking care of the mul-tilateral development of the child. To this aim has been achieved kindergarten must work with parents. The scope of this cooperation is part of a parents coun-cil, which is a social body representing parents of preschool children. The article presents the issues of the functioning of the parents in the institutional structure of the kindergarten.
