This paper presents the results of an EARTH-2 test administered in an online format to 890 students aged 10 to 15 years attending grades 4 through 8 of elementary school. Students were asked to identify the most correct image depicting the location of people, trees, and clouds, the movement of people and objects on Earth, and the phenomenon of day and night in the context of the shape of the Earth. The study found that one in three respondents (38%) inconsistently indicated a spherical Earth when explaining the location of people, trees, clouds, how people and objects move, and explains the phenomenon of day and night. The study found that one in four surveyed elementary school graduates (27%) had difficulty in explaining basic astronomical concepts. The study showed no significant differences in gender and place of residence.

Artykuł przedstawia wyniki testu EARTH-2 przeprowadzonego w formie internetowej wśród 890 uczniów w wieku od 10 do 15 lat uczęszczających do klas IV – VIII szkoły podstawowej.
