Ochrona i regulacja praw niemajątkowych przysługujących dzieciom na Litwie i w Polsce Streszczenie Każde dziecko, powinno korzystać z wszystkich powszechnych praw człowieka. Dziecko, musi mieć zagwarantowane określone prawa, typowe tylko dla tej grupy osób. Pierwsze zmiany związane z dyskusją i oceną sytuacji dziecka w rodzinie i społeczeństwie rozpoczęły się na początku XX wieku. Jednak jedna z najważniejszych zmian nastąpiła dopiero po przyjęciu Konwencji Praw Dziecka przez Organizację Narodów Zjednoczonych. Konwencja ONZ o prawach dziecka definiuje dwa podstawowe przepisy ‒ po pierwsze, dziecko musi stać się niezależnym podmiotem prawnym, po drugie dziecko musi być wyposażone w prawo czynnego udziału w realizacji i ochronie przysługujących mu praw. W 1992 roku Litwa przystąpiła do Konwencja o prawach dziecka. Polska ratyfikowała Konwencję 7 czerwca 1991 r. Dzięki przestrzeganiu zobowiązań międzynarodowych, Litwa i Polska zbudowały system ochrony praw dziecka. Powstały warunki prawne do zmiany postawy wobec dziecka, leczenia ich oraz ich statusu w rodzinie i społeczeństwie. Celem referatu jest analiza aspektów teoretycznych i praktycznych w zakresie regulacji i ochrony praw niemajątkowych dzieci.
