Changes in the area of museum education take multiple directions. While some of them are a result of discussion on transformations observed in social life and their impact on the shape and role of contemporary museums, others may be related to growing numbers of museum visitors recruiting from ever wider circles of people. Irrespective of the causes behind this metamorphosis of education offered by museums, many of these institutions simply ask: Who and what are museums for nowadays? ‘A Multitude of Realities’ is an experimental research and educational project of the Józef Piłsudski Museum in Sulejówek which has already provided a lot of material to answer these two questions.
