Christian theatres often try to transfer biblical content to the stage, the main goal of which is the story told along with the message it carries. During the preparation of scenarios, activities such as text simplification, updating events, and other various types of compilations are used. The authors of these performances or the playwrights invited to cooperate, often make a conscious choice of texts, thanks to which universal stories are created to proclaim the kerygma. There is an increasingly awareness in the use of various stylistic forms in order to create mature and valuable performances.

Teatry chrześcijańskie starają się często przenosić na scenę treści biblijne, których celem nadrzędnym jest opowiadana historia wraz z przekazem, jaki ona niesie. Podczas przygotowywania scenariuszy wykorzystywane są takie działania, jak różny stopień redukcji tekstu biblijnego, uaktualnianie wydarzeń czy różnego rodzaju kompilacje. Autorzy tych przedstawień bądź dramaturdzy zaproszeni do współpracy dokonują niejednokrotnie świadomego wyboru tekstów, dzięki którym powstają uniwersalne opowieści mające na celu głoszenie kerygmatu. Zauważa się coraz bardziej zamierzone operowanie różnymi formami stylistycznymi w celu stworzenia dojrzałych i wartościowych spektakli.
