According to the personalist ethicists the moral principle persona est affirmanda is very important in human life; some of them propose even to replace it with the general rule of the natural law: bonum est faciendum. The polish capuchin, Venerable Serafin Kaszuba, may be a special example of the life in the light of the principle persona est affirmanda. His moral discernment is used in this paper for analyzing – in practice – the relation between the usage of the moral standards and the place of the principle persona est affirmanda
