Effects of a change in the membership of a Sejm’s committee on the conduct of an adjourned meeting

In the author’s opinion, if the Sejm makes changes to the membership of a committee during an adjournment of its meeting, the committee, after the adjournment, shall continue its work in the changed composition. A resolution of the Sejm on the election or change of the membership of a committee of the Sejm shall be adopted on general principles and, if its content does not specify the date of its entry into force, shall take effect immediately upon its adoption. All actions taken by the committee prior to the adjournment shall remain valid and, after the adjournment, the committee shall resume its work with the changed membership.
