Ciąża i poród w opiniach młodych kobiet

Prezentowane badanie zostało przeprowadzone na grupie 604 młodych kobiet w wieku 19–24 lat, które nie są i nie były nigdy wcześniej w ciąży. Celem pracy była analiza ich postaw względem ewentualnej ciąży, porodu, macierzyństwa, służby zdrowia i opieki ginekologicznej w Polsce oraz historie rodzinne budujące postawę wobec ciąży i porodu. Postawy i historie zostały przebadane za pomocą autorskiej ankiety składającej się z metryczki oraz 12 pytań. Według przeprowadzonych badań większość kobiet boi się porodu w umiarkowanym bądź znacznym stopniu, w tym szczególnie komplikacji porodowych i bólu związanego z porodem. Ponad 75% badanych kobiet słyszała o traumatycznych doświadczeniach porodowych swoich bliskich. Pomimo tego prawie 92% badanych kobiet chciałoby zajść w ciążę i urodzić i ponad 90% kobiet postrzega poród jako zjawisko naturalne i instynktowne.
