The study is an analysis of the literature on the subject in the field of aspects of shaping the identity of a young person on the labour market. The subject of reflection is the professional activity of young people in the transition process, with particular emphasis on the dynamics and directions of changes on the labour market. As the authors of the Foundation Findings: Youth and work report emphasize, nowadays, great emphasis should be placed on helping young people transition from education to the labour market. In this process, it seems important to take actions to shape the individual ready to move from education to the labour market.

Opracowanie stanowi analizę literatury przedmiotu w obszarze aspektów kształtowania tożsamości młodego człowieka na rynku pracy. Przedmiotem refleksji jest aktywność zawodowa młodzieży w procesie tranzycji, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem dynamiki i kierunków zmian na rynku pracy. Jak podkreślają autorzy raportu Foundation Findings: Youth and work, współcześnie należy położyć duży nacisk na pomoc młodzieży w procesie przechodzenia z edukacji na rynek pracy. Ważne wydaje się w tym procesie podejmowanie działań w zakresie ukształtowania jednostki gotowej do przejścia z edukacji na rynek pracy.
