Rejon Morza Czarnego i otaczających go terytoriów wraz z jego bogatymi złożami naturalnymi znajdował się i znajduje w centrum interesów politycznych i gospodarczych głównych potęg światowych. Po rozpadzie Związku Radzieckiego rejon Morza Czarnego stał się miejscem intensywnej wymiany handlowej i tranzytowej oraz przesyłu surowców energetycznych z obszaru Morza Kaspijskiego i Azji Środkowej do Europy. Wydarzenia w Gruzji i ostatnie wydarzenia na Ukrainie pokazują, że Rosja stara się odbudować dawne wpływy i przejąć kontrolę w tym rejonie. Celem artykułu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, w jakim stopniu działania Rosji w rejonie Morza Czarnego destabilizują bezpieczeństwo regionalne i euroatlantyckie.

The region of the Black Sea and its surrounding territories with their rich natural deposits have always been in the centre of political and economic interests of the leading world powers. After the collapse of the Soviet Union the region of the Black Sea became the place of an intensive trade and transit exchange of fuel resources from the area of the Caspian Sea and middle Asia to Europe. The events in Georgia and the last events in Ukraine show that Russia is trying to re-build old influences and take control over that region. The aim of the article is an attempt to answer a question, to which extent the actions of Russia in the region of the Black Sea destabilise the regional and Euro-Atlantic security.
