Introduction to essay cluster Molière Revisited. The author presents the most substantial artistic and academic projects carried out in Poland on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Molière's birth. He recalls 20th-century translators of Molière's comedies into Polish and books by Polish scholars reflecting on various aspects of his work and its reception. He also lists articles on the works of Molière and their translations or productions published in the pages of Pamiętnik Teatralny since 1956.

Wprowadzenie do bloku tematycznego Molière: Powroty. Autor przedstawia najważniejsze inicjatywy artystyczne i naukowe zrealizowane w Polsce z okazji 400-lecia urodzin Molière’a. Przypomina dwudziestowiecznych tłumaczy komedii Molière’a na język polski oraz książki polskich badaczy podejmujących refleksję nad różnymi aspektami jego twórczości i jej recepcji. Wymienia również poświęcone francuskiemu komediopisarzowi artykuły publikowane na łamach „Pamiętnika Teatralnego” od 1956 roku.
