This article addresses the issue of protecting minors from inadequate content available online. By mentioning the leading theories from sociology and media studies, the text discusses the impact of the media on recipients (not only the youngest ones). The authors recall the typology of content inadequate for minors developed by the European Commission, and also characterise the most dangerous current phenomena: pathostreaming and sharenting.

Artykuł podejmuje zagadnienie ochrony małoletnich przed nieodpowiednimi treściami dostępnymi online. Poprzez przytoczenie wiodących teorii socjologiczno-medioznawczych, w tekście omówiono zarys wpływu mediów na odbiorców (nie tylko tych najmłodszych). Autorki przywołują opracowaną przez Komisję Europejską typologię treści nieodpowiednich dla małoletnich, a także charakteryzują dwa obecnie najgroźniejsze zjawiska: patostreaming i sharenting.
