Analyzing the statements of MEPs during the debate in European Parliament on the abortion law in Poland, the author tries to find the answers to the following research questions: What discourse was presented by MEPs during the debate on the right to abortion in Poland? How does belonging to the political group affect the discourse used by MEPs during the parliamentary debate? What other topics have been moved during the debate about the legality of abortion in Poland? For this purpose, analyzing 24 statements of MPs who spoke during the debate in the European Parliament in Strasburg.

Analizując wypowiedzi eurodeputowanych podczas debaty dotyczącej prawa aborcji w Polsce, Autorka stara się znaleźć odpowiedź na następujące pytania badawcze: Jaki dyskurs prezentowali eurodeputowani podczas debaty na temat prawa do aborcji w Polsce? W jaki sposób przynależność do danej grupy politycznej wpływa na argumentacyjne praktyki językowe, jakim jej członkowie posługują się w debacie parlamentarnej? Jakie inne konteksty zostały powiązane z tematem legalności aborcji w Polsce? W tym celu przeanalizowano 24 wypowiedzi euro deputowanych, którzy zabrali głos podczas debaty w Parlamencie Europejskim dotyczącej prawda do aborcji w Polsce.
