The article discusses Zionism’s gender politics surrounding the Jewish woman’s body and selfhood in the Jewish national rebirth process and the formation of a modern Jewish identity. It explores Jewish patriarchal structures and the discursive power and reach of Zionist ideology in interwar Poland.

Artykuł omawia syjonistyczną politykę płci dotyczącą ciała i osobowości żydowskiej kobiety w procesie odrodzenia narodowego Żydów oraz kształtowania się nowoczesnej tożsamości żydowskiej. Bada żydowskie struktury patriarchalne oraz dyskursywną siłę i zasięg ideologii syjonistycznej w międzywojennej Polsce.
