Inauguracja prezydentury Alvaro Obregona zamyka militarny etap Rewolucji Meksykańskiej, otwierając tym samym dominację we frakcji liberalnej nurtu liberalizmu z regionu Sonora i proces budowania (po)rewolucyjnego porządku państwowego. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza polityki Obregona wobec interesów chłopów i robotników zarówno podczas swojej prezydentury jak i w okresie poprzedzającym ją, kiedy budował swoją pozycję w obozie liberalnym. Niniejszy artykuł zakłada, że w prowadzonej polityce wobec chłopów i robotników, Obregon łączył elementy silnego przywództwa z koncyliacją interesów doprowadzając tym samym do rozwoju podejścia zwycięzców Rewolucji wobec dążeń wspomnianych grup społecznych.
