During the defensive fights of Płock on the 18th and 19th of August 1920 there were 164 soldiers and a few civilians dead, either murdered or dead of wounds. The list of casualties published below is, so far, the fullest. While it was being arrayed the available archives and pre-war publications, as well as the contemporary ones, were used.

W czasie walk w obronie Płocka 18-19 sierpnia 1920 r. zginęło, zostało zamordowanych i zmarło z ran ok. 164 żołnierzy i kilku cywili. Mimo kilku prób nie udało się dotychczas ustalić pełnej listy poległych. Opublikowana w 2013 r. lista poległych została uzupełniona w oparciu nowe źródła, głównie akta zgonu parafii mojżeszowej w Płocku.
