The authors deal with the reflection over the subject of the educational dimension of preparing the detained ones in penitentiaries for confirmation in the context of the process of resocialization. The total lack of studies concerning the subject is a chance to show the anthropological assumptions of the preparation, the characterization of the potential candidates to receive the sacrament, and presenting the educational aims of the undertaken activities. The authors suggest the educational contents, the forms and models of the priests’ work and adequately prepared volunteers with the detained ones craving to receive the sacrament of the Christian maturity. The penitentiary priesthood, including the preparation the candidates for confirmation, enters into the process of the resociolization of the detained ones.
