O SŁOWNIKU CERKIEWNYM PROTOJEREJA PIOTRA ALEKSIEJEWA Streszczenie W latach 1773–1819 czterokrotnie był wydawany Słownik cerkiewny protojereja Piotra Aleksiejewa. Ostatnie poprawione i uzupełnione wydanie sześciotomowego słownika defi nicyjnego ukazało się w latach 1817–1819. Autor nie prezentował całości zasobu leksykalnego języka rosyjskiego XVIII w., lecz wybierał jedynie wyrazy „trudne do zrozumienia” (terminy religijne, cerkiewizmy, nazwy własne, nazwy świąt, obrzędów, wyrazy zapożyczone, dawne formy gramatyczne, frazeologizmy, skróty), które funkcjonowały w Piśmie Św., w tekstach, rozważaniach religijnych itp. Każde z 6000 haseł zilustrował cytatami, przykładami użycia, z zaznaczeniem źródła. Dzieło Piotra Aleksiejewa przyczyniło się do rozwoju leksykografi i rosyjskiej, do rozwoju kultury rosyjskiej XVIII wieku. Słownik ten był wykorzystany, włączony do pierwszego normatywnego sześciotomowego słownika języka rosyjskiego przygotowanego przez Akademię Rosyjską (Словарь Академии Российской, 1789–1794). ON THE ORTHODOX CHURCH DICTIONARY OF PETER ALEKSEYEV Summary The Orthodox Church Dictionary of Petr Alekseyev was published four times in years 1773–1819. The last revised and enlarged edition of the six volume dictionary came out of press in 1817–1819. The author did not include all the lexical resources of the XVII century Russian but made selection of words “diffi cult to understand” (religious terms, Church slavonisms, personal names, names of holidays, rituals, borrowings, old grammatical forms, phraseologic forms, and abbreviations) which were used in the Holy Scriptures, in religious texts, etc. Each of 6000 entries was illustrated with quotations, examples of usage, and its source was specifi ed at the same time. The work of Peter Alekseyev contributed to the development of Russian lexicography, and to the development of Russian culture of the XVIII century. This dictionary was used and included in the fi rst six volume normative dictionary of the Russian language prepared by the Russian Academy (Dictionary of Russian Academy, 1789–1794).
