The text presented here is an attempt to introduce problems of aesthetics embodied in the works of H. G. Gadamer. The German philosopher and the most outstanding exponent of the hermeneutics trends, in his polemic with a Kantian tradition performs critique of the aesthetics awareness and emphasizes the versimiltudinal arts’s predications. To refer a question of the game and feast model, he describes a phenomenon of experiencing the work of art by the receiver, experiencing that changes the one who experiences. Hermeneutic experience is the historical process, entangled in the past, in the heritage, as well as in the superstitions and prejudices initiating, and also predicating every possible understanding. Theories of collision of the horizons of the past and present, of the text and its receiver, along with the principle of application, supplement the reflection. Sociologist who investigates the reception of the art, gains from the Gadamerian hermeneutics a theoretical basis and inspiration to study colloquial replications of the work of art.
