In his works of “Crabwalk” (2002), “Peeling the Onion” (2006) and “The Box” (2008) Günter Grass reflects on the problem of memory and the (im)possibility of precise remembering. He uses the time lag for the topics connected with the World War II and in this way he achieves a new perspective ‚Nach-Vergangenheit’. In addition to this, characters of the seventeen-year-olds, who are highly profiled in the whole work of Günter Grass have been analysed.

‚Nach‑Vergangenheit’ jako nowy wymiar czasu a znaczenie siedemnastolatka – wokół poetologii wątpienia W utworach „Idąc rakiem” (2002), „Przy obieraniu cebuli” (2006) i „Skrzynka” (2008) Günter Grass wywołuje refleksję nad problemami pamięci i (nie)możliwością dokładnego pamiętania. W sferze fikcji wiąże on dystans czasowy z przypominanymi tematami, wykorzystując odkrywczą w jego twórczości przestrzeń ,Nach-Vergangenheit’ jako stwarzający nowe perspektywy wymiar czasu. Ponadto badane są postaci siedemnastolatków, które w przekroju jego twórczości zajmują eksponowaną pozycję.
