In this article the female character of Tulla Pokriefke will be analysed on the basis of two works, in which she plays an important role: “Cat and Mouse” (1961) and “Crabwalk” (2002). The article is to present how this probably most important and most significant heroine in postwar German literature, Tulla Pokriefke, is shown by Günter Grass, what role she plays in these two novellas and whether or not it still is the same character after almost 40 years.

Kobieca postać Tulli Pokriefke w „Kocie i myszy” oraz w „Idąc rakiem” W przedłożonym artykule analizowana jest postać Tulli Pokriefke w oparciu o dwa utwory: Kot i mysz” (1961) oraz „Idąc rakiem” (2002), w których odgrywa ona istotną rolę. Artykuł poświęcony jest zagadnieniom: jak Günter Grass ukazuje tę prawdopodobnie najważniejszą i najbardziej znaczącą postać w powojennej literaturze niemieckiej, jaką rolę pełni ona w obydwu utworach i czy po prawie 40 latach chodzi o tę samą, czy też inną postać.
