The article addresses language accents in a migrant society. To this end, references are made to the cinema debut of Şamdereli sisters entitled Almanya – Welcome to Germany (2011). Linguistic abilities and lack of such abilities of actors of Turkish origin unravels poorly thought-over daily reality: the linguistic potential of immigrant new-comers and their ancestors is a result of the mistakenly conducted immigrant and educational policy in Germany, which is best expressed by Max Frisch, in the following words: “We summoned labour, yet people arrived”.

O przezwyciężeniu niemożności mówienia u pierwszych „gastarbajterów“ tureckiego pochodzenia, a także u ich potomków na podstawie głośnego filmu Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest akcentom językowym w społeczeństwie (po)migracyjnym. W tym celu autorka odwołuje się do debiutu kinowego sióstr Şamdereli, znanego pod nazwą Almanya – Willkommen in Deutschland (2011). Sprawności językowe, a także ich brak demaskują nie do końca uświadomioną rzeczywistość: językowy kapitał imigrantów i ich potomków jest skutkiem wadliwie prowadzonej polityki migracyjnej i edukacyjnej w Niemczech, co trafnie wyraża maksyma Maxa Frischa: „Posłaliśmy po siłę roboczą, a przybyli ludzie“.
