This article raises the question of whether within the liaison of linguistics and translation, a retreat of translation from linguistic methods and models can be observed. This issue shall be discussed on the basis of audiodescription. The article depicts audiodescription in terms of a challenge for linguistic reflection and examines the implications of such condition for the guidelines of creating audiodescription. This in turn is a starting point for analysing a variable dynamics of the relation between linguistics and translation.

Związek lingwistyki i przekładoznawstwa”. Zmiana i rozwój relacji w kontekście audiodeskrypcji Niniejszy artykuł poddaje pod dyskusję pytanie, czy w związku lingwistyki i przekładoznawstwa uwidacznia się odejście translatoryki od metod i modeli językoznawczych. Problem ten omówiony zostanie na przykładzie audiodeskrypcji. Artykuł przedstawia audiodeskrypcję w kategoriach wyzwania dla refleksji lingwistycznej i omawia implikacje takiego stanu rzeczy dla standardów tworzenia audiodeskrypcji. To natomiast stanowi punkt wyjścia do omówienia zmiennej dynamiki relacji pomiędzy lingwistyką a przekładoznawstwem.
