The present contribution discusses for basic principles for the study of authentic forms of speech and oral communication, their structure, their conditions of use and their functions. Scientific analyses of oral and in particular dialogical speech cannot but systematically proceed in a corpus-based or even corpus-driven manner, respecting the multimodal and interactive nature of conversational events, and taking into account strongly construction-oriented encoding practices. The aforementioned four fundamentals are being treated and illustrated by using corpus excerpts in order to demonstrate their significance not only for linguistics but also for foreign language teaching.

Korpus, multimodalność, interaktywność, konstrukcjonizm – Podstawowe zasady lingwistyki pragmatycznej i metodyki nauczania języków obcych Niniejszy artykuł jest głosem w dyskusji o elementarnych zasadach badań lingwistycznych nad językiem i formami komunikacji ustnej, jej strukturą, warunkach, w jakich się odbywa i przede wszystkim jej funkcji. Chodzi o zasadę autentycznego korpusu, uwzględnianie multimodalności, preferowanie dialogiczności komunikacji oraz wykorzystywanie utartych konstrukcji w interakcjach. Zasady te, zilustrowane na wybranych przykładach gramatyczno-leksykalnych, są podstawą nie tylko nowoczesnej lingwistyki, ale również nowoczesnej metodyki nauczania języków obcych.
