The analysis of mutual relationship between certain linguistic elements like style, genre, text and discourse may seem controversial to a German linguist unfamiliar with Polish academic approach in this area. Hence, in the area of contrastive interlinguistics, there is a tendency to confront parallel linguistic currents between scholars from various countries in order to demonstrate and explain some unique features within the study areas to be juxtaposed. The author of this article sets herself an aim to expose various interrelations between the category of style and the basic notions used in the text and discourse analysis, namely text, genre/type and discourse and their mutual interdependencies in the light of the tradition and studies in either academic geographical area.

Jak w badaniach polonistycznych pozycjonuje się styl, gatunek, tekst i dyskurs. Podstawowe pojęcia z zakresu badań nad tekstem i dyskursem w konfrontacji niemiecko‑polskiej z punktu widzenia germanisty Analizowanie wzajemnych zależności pomiędzy takimi wielkościami jak: styl, gatunek, tekst i dyskurs niemieckiemu lingwiście nieznającemu podejść polonistycznych w tym zakresie może się wydać kontrowersyjne. Dlatego też w ramach badań nad kontrastywnością interlingwistyczną dąży się do konfrontowania analogicznych dyscyplin lingwistycznych w różnych krajach oraz do ukazania i wyjaśniania osobliwości porównywanych obszarów badawczych. Autorka niniejszego artykułu stawia sobie za cel ukazanie różnych zależności pomiędzy kategorią styl a podstawowymi wielkościami z zakresu badań nad tekstem i dyskursem, a mianowicie tekstem, gatunkiem/rodzajem tekstu i dyskursem w ich wzajemnych relacjach oraz przedstawienie i rozważenie ich w świetle tradycji i dociekań badawczych w obu analizowanych obszarach.
