The aim of this article is to present an ensemble of different text types to delineate the relationships between them within a specific text type net belonging to the daily news field in the printing press. For this purpose, first the modular forms of reporting will be introduced, followed by the discussion of the press text type and the examination of the culturally determined text type expression. The investigation centres around one important world incident – the Papal election in March 2013. The focus lies on what was reported in detail in the daily press in both countries in order to demonstrate similarities and differences.

Modularne formy przekazywania informacji: sieci tekstów w niemieckiej i polskiej prasie codziennej Przedmiotem rozważań niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie kontrastywnej analizy zbioru różnych rodzajów tekstów oraz ich powiązań w ramach sieci tekstów, których celem jest przekazywanie informacji w prasie codziennej. W tym celu w pierwszej części artykułu opisane zostały modularne formy przekazywania informacji. Następnie podjęto próbę zdefiniowania rodzaju tekstu oraz przedstawiono charakterystyczne cechy gatunków prasowych, jak również ich uwarunkowania kulturowe. Analizie poddano wydarzenie o zasięgu światowym (wybór papieża w marcu 2013), o którym informowały obszernie gazety codzienne.
