Inwieweit stellen Phraseme für Übersetzer eine Herausforderung dar? Führen andere lexikalische Einheiten in gleicher Weise zu Übersetzungsproblemen? Wie lassen sich Modifikationen vorgeprägter Ausdrücke in andere Sprachen übertragen? Der vorliegende Beitrag untersucht Beispiele, die einem literarischen Text entnommen sind, der bekannt ist für seine phraseostilistische Kreativität: Gemeint ist der Roman Ein weites Feld von Günter Grass. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit gilt dem kulturspezifischen Hintergrund des Basistexts, möglichen Äquivalenzen wie überhaupt der Gleichwertigkeit französischer und italienischer Übersetzungen.

To what extent can phraseological units challange the translator? Do other lexical units challenge the translator in the same way? How can modifications of set phrases be translated into another languages? The article analyses some examples extracted from a literary text which is well –known for its phraseo -stylistic creativity: the novel Ein weites Feld of Günter Grass. Close attention will be paid to the culture -specific background of the source text, the possible equivalence as well as further equivalence solutions in target languages like French and Italian.

Zwroty i translatywność specyfiki kulturowej: kontekstualizacja frazeologii na przykładzie Güntera Grassa Do jakiego stopnia jednostki frazeologiczne specyficzne kulturowo mogą wpływać na zmianę tłumaczenia? Czy inne jednostki leksykalne zmieniają znaczenie w ten sam sposób? W jaki sposób można tłumaczyć modyfikacje struktur frazowych na inny język? Niniejszy artykuł analizuje kilka wybranych przykładów z tekstów literackich dobrze znanych z kreatywnej stylistyki frazeologicznej: opowiadanie Ein weites Feld Güntera Grassa. Szczególną uwagę zwraca się na specyfikę kulturowego kontekstu tekstu źródłowego, jak również możliwe ekwiwalencje w językach będących przedmiotem tłumaczenia: język francuski i włoski.
