The concept of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is becoming a standard business operating today. The ISO 26000 shows the relationship between socially responsible business and sustainable development. The CSR focuses on the balance between economic, social and ethical sphere of their activities. The CSR is a new, rapidly growing concept which is mainly reflected in such events as public awareness campaigns, volunteering, sponsoring events, product sales combined with earmarking part of the profit to a specific social goal, the creation of codes of ethics and eco - labeling products. This article attempts to answer the question what is CSR? The answer to this question was formulated on the basis of studies carried out in the first quarter of 2013 on a sample of 750.
