Centralization of selected business processes and their outsourcing can lead to a reduction of costs or performance improvement i.e. in terms of time shortening or increasing level of customer service. Currently, entrepreneurs have the opportunity to diversify the functionality of resources used between own assets and those that are available from external suppliers located in various parts of the world. Shared service centers for several years are an interesting alternative to not to freezing of capital into the assets that do not add value to key competences. On the global map of the location of the SSC and BPO Poland is an interesting place for the allocation of services supporting the processes of enterprises in different industries and different countries of origin.

Centralizacja wybranych procesów w przedsiębiorstwie i ich outsourcing może prowadzić do ograniczenia kosztów, bądź poprawy osiąganych efektów, np. w kontekście czasu lub poziomu jakości obsługi klienta. Aktualnie przedsiębiorcy mają możliwość dywersyfikacji funkcjonalności wykorzystywanych zasobów pomiędzy aktywa własne a te, które są dostępne u zewnętrznych dostawców zlokalizowanych w różnych częściach świata. Centra usług wspólnych stanowią od kilku lat interesującą alternatywę wobec zamrażania kapitału w aktywa nie dodające wartości kluczowym kompetencjom podmiotu gospodarczego. Na globalnej mapie lokalizacji SSC i BPO coraz wyraźniej rysuje się rola Polski jako miejsca alokacji usług realizujących procesy przedsiębiorstw w różnych branżach i różnych krajów pochodzenia.
