The Church is the unity of people that are connected with their faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is a dynamic thing, both in the social and personal area. It is characterized by the developement, progress but as well as regress. Nowadays there is a lot of talking about the faith crisis. The main cause of that crisis there are secularization, pluralism and the cultural globalization. Characteristic property of present times is the secularity, the lack of the references of daily life to the religious area. Characteristic issues of present culture are: fortuity, worldliness and passing, relativity and relativism as well as authonomy and freedom. God, salvation, eternity and many other ideas from religious language area are away from the experience and subsistence. Nowadays Christianity is in a very predicament. It is very big chalenge which would be a subject of theological discussion in the Year of the Faith that was heralded.
