Charyzmat proroctwa jest istotnym, choć często niedocenianym elementem Bożej pedagogiki. Pełnił ważną rolę pośród chrześcijan pierwszych wieków. Dziś wraz z rozwojem Odnowy Charyzmatycznej domaga się on dogłębnego, dogmatycznego opracowania, by mógł pełnić w Kościele funkcję aktualizacji Objawienia.

The article discusses the issue of charism of prophecy in the Bible and in the live of the Church. At first, the author presents the theory of the cease of the prophecy. Secondly, he gives explains of the understanding of prophecy, oracle and ecstasy in antiquity and Bible. The final part of the article is devoted to the overview of these issues in the teachings of the selected Christianity first century authors, Thomas Aquinas and modern theologians.
