The subject of the article is the urban concept of the Social Integration Center in the revitalized area in Rybnik Paruszowiec-Piaski, which was the subject of Engineering Thesis. The project assumes the creation of a park and recreational space in the Rybnik commons, with particular attention to the social aspect and integration of the district's inhabitants. The area should be open to all inhabitants of Rybnik. The factor that has a significant impact on the project is the rich history of the district, and at the same time the problem of degradation of post-industrial areas. The aim of the urban layout is to create a local center that will meet the needs of the residents of the district and will enrich the city with a new recreational area.

Tematem artykułu jest koncepcja urbanistyczna Centrum Integracji Społecznej na terenie objętym rewitalizacją w Rybniku – Paruszowcu-Piaskach, który stanowił przedmiot pracy inżynierskiej. Projekt zakłada utworzenie na terenie rybnickich Błoni przestrzeni parkowo-rekreacyjnej, ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na aspekt społeczny i integrację mieszkańców dzielnicy. W założeniu teren ma być dostępny dla wszystkich rybniczan. Kluczowym czynnikiem, wpływającym na projekt, jest bogata historia dzielnicy, a zarazem problem zdegradowania terenów poprzemysłowych. Celem projektu ma być utworzenie centrum lokalnego, które odpowiadać będzie potrzebom mieszkańców dzielnicy i wzbogaci miasto o nowy teren rekreacyjny.
