Article is devoted to the environmental education, one of the concepts of education and upbringing, which is based on the principles of respect for the natural environment. Environmental education is recognized as one of the interdisciplinary form of teaching with very strong educational dimen- sion. The complexity of environmental education is expressed in specific ways of realizing the educational process. Its significant feature is that it differs of the aims and the methods of teaching, than another subjects of school. Problems of environmental education should be discussed during various school subjects. Important role in this type of education plays a teacher, whose job is to awaken students' sensitivity to the problems of the natural environment.
