Aim of the paper is contribution to discussion on restating the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) principles. The paper is based on an ongoing research project entitled “Impact of cooperation on success of partnerships providing social services”1. In the light of work carried out in the project, it is worth noting that government policy is positive toward PPP, although private financing is not seen as an essential part of PPP. PPP principles are considered to be conducive to innovation and cost of all life, there are also doubts about possibilities of using potential of PPP. The Polish situation indicates need for a broader look at how innovation and thinking for a lifetime can be released in PPP. The question arises whether creation of partnerships between public and private component might be a future for PPP in Poland and elsewhere.
