The author claims that there are five such points: the Round Table and socio-economic transition in 1989 and beyond, the adoption of the Constitution in 1997, the four social reforms in 1999, Poland’s accession to the European Union in 2004, He also describes the strengths and weaknesses of the Polish social transition, pointing out its failures and shortages.
