The article describes the impact of neurodevelopmental disorders and disorders of muscle tension distribution on the visual functioning of children, including children with severe intellectual disabilities and children with conjugate disabilities. The description of visual functioning of children observed as part of the author’s own  ractice  as compared with visual perception disorders in Sally Goddard Blythe’s Theory of Primitive Reflexes Integration (Blythe 2015) of children who are within intellectual norm with school difficulties. The influence of various forms of cerebral palsy on the way of using basic visual functions without the support of a vision therapist  nd changes in visual skills after regular therapy were also analyzed. The article contains practical advice on how to modify vision therapy for children with linked disabilities, including children with severe intellectual disabilities.

W artykule opisano wpływ zaburzeń neurorozwojowych i zaburzeń dystrybucji napięcia mięśniowego na funkcjonowanie wzrokowe dzieci, w tym dzieci z głęboką niepełnosprawnością intelektualną i dzieci z niepełnosprawnością sprzężoną. Opis zachowań wzrokowych dzieci zaobserwowanych w ramach własnej praktyki autorki porównano z zaburzeniami percepcji wzrokowej w Teorii Integracji Odruchów Pierwotnych Sally Goddard Blythe (Blythe 2015) u dzieci w normie intelektualnej z trudnościami szkolnymi. Przeanalizowano też wpływ różnych postaci mózgowego porażenia dziecięcego na sposób korzystania z podstawowych funkcji wzrokowych bez wsparcia terapeuty widzenia oraz zmiany w umiejętnościach wzrokowych po regularnej terapii. Artykuł zawiera praktyczne wskazówki dotyczące modyfikacji terapii widzenia pod kątem dzieci ze sprzężoną (wieloraką) niepełnosprawnością, w tym dzieci z głęboką niepełnosprawnością intelektualną.
