W artykule przedstawiono działania wybranych organizacji bibliotekarskich na rzecz marketingu bibliotecznego. W tym celu zaprezentowano International Federation of Library Associations, American Library Association i Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono konkursom, których celem jest nagradzanie bibliotek realizujących ciekawe kampanie marketingowe.

The article describes the activities of selected library associations in library marketing promotion. This includes the presentation of International Federation of Library Associations, American Library Association and Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals. A particular attention is devoted to competitions whose purpose is to reward these libraries which have implemented creative, results-oriented marketing projects or campaigns.
